Annular Glade 

Join us on the Flimwell Park architectural visit – 16.00 October 29th 2021

Fourth Door’s Annular Glade has organised an architectural and building visit to Flimwell Park, the new eco-development in Flimwell. Architect Steve Johnson (the Architecture Ensemble) will lead the building visit. Book on Eventbrite.

Participants need to make their way to Flimwell Park independently. Please car share if possible. Trains – there are regular trains from London Charing Cross and Waterloo to Wadhurst, the nearest station, taking around an hour. For taxi’s see Wadhurst Taxis, RSA Private Hire (07837 064853) or via Google. Buses – route 254 runs a service arriving Wadhurst station at 14.55 and stopping at Flimwell Hare & Hounds traffic lights at 15.11. (approximately a quarter mile from Flimwell Park site.) If asked the driver will stop by the Flimwell Park entrance. Please arrive at or by 4pm. Map here.

We are looking to arrange staying on for a dinner meal in Flimwell Park’s newly opened Birchwood restaurant. If you’d like to stay on please let us know. The dinner meal will be dependent on numbers, so we encourage you to stay and enjoy a meal and a drink.

Major engineering work is taking place between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings, closing all lines from Saturday 23 to Friday 29 October.
  • Buses will replace calling at all station between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings.
  • Semi-fast bus services will operate between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings, stopping at Wadhurst only.
