Perhaps less known is that Sarah is a keen cyclist, and has been involved in a variety of cycle infrastructure projects, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/swarch.co.uk\/work\/bermondsey-bicycle-store\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bermondsey Bicycle Store<\/a>, and more recently, the <a href=\"https:\/\/swarch.co.uk\/work\/bermondsey-bicycle-store\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GO Cycle Kingston mini-Holland<\/a> project. Sarah and her SWARCH studio team also developed a cycle-centric approach to traveling to project sites and other work involving travel. Within this schema Connected Cities have also developed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.connectedcities.org\/the-connectedtowns\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Connected Towns<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.connectedcities.org\/vision-2050\/new-green-quarters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Green Quarters<\/a>. These range from public facilities for open innovation and culture to tools for democratic decision making. This includes an open-source air pollution sensor project deployed by citizen scientists to map air pollution levels across regional cities, towns and urban districts in the Netherlands and Norway, a variant of which they brought to Lewes for the <a href=\"https:\/\/fourthdoor.org\/ongoing\/?p=577\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Particulate workshop<\/a> in November 2023. In collaboration with Brighton University, the Cycle-Stations Project was awarded a six-figure three-year Interreg grant running between 2004 and 2006. It includes proposals for re-opening the Lewes-Uckfield rail corridor as an integrated cycle-rail greenway.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Fourth Door micro-symposia and events<\/h3>\n<p>Earlier Fourth Door micro-symposia have included <a href=\"https:\/\/fourthdoor.org\/ongoing\/?p=454\">Heart, Hearth &amp; Housing<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/fourthdoor.org\/ongoing\/?p=421\">Health, Habitats and Hubs<\/a>.
