Collaborative Collisions – Conference Design & Make workshop

18-19th September – 9.00 – 18.00 – Collaborative Collisions, Lewes Phoenix Estate (venue to be confirmed)

Design & make workshop – students and faculty from the Bartlett School of Architectures Here East Design for Manufacture MArch course will be working with John Russell, local timber framer and co-founder of the Carpenters Fellowship.
The workshop is open to all and welcomes participants skilled, unskilled and uber-skilled.
The workshop explores the relationship between low – saws and axes – and high– robotics and other digital tools – tech approaches and ways of working.
Participation on this Collaborative Collisions is ticketed, although a number of places are being offered at reduced rates for Lewes residents.
The built outcomes of the workshop will be shown and presented as part of the Thursday evening talks at Studio Hardie 19.15 – 21.15
